The Metro7 for DotNetNuke Skin was originally developed by Ali Nawaz for DotNetNuke 5 Originally. Four different color versions available as individual packages. The Metro7 for DotNetNuke 5 skins were created with Photoshop. With announcement of DotNetNuke 6 there were some errors that made it impossible to use in DotNetNuke. After the packages have been released as open source under the GPL licensing scheme, it was now possible to adapt them for DotNetNuke 6th

Our deliberations were then to create from the 4 individual packages a 4 Color Skin Pack to gain a better user experience. Furthermore musten the known errors are eliminated, and the skins included in the jQuery files are removed for safety reasons and replaced by the integration of jQuery DotNetNuke through the settings.

Already in the first week after publication of the first version of Metro7 gfor DotNetNuke 6 extensions were requested, such as Internalpage one that contains no internal image slider. We want to wish to meet with the next release.

With the release of the Metro 7 Skin Package 09.02.00 the Package is completely re-writen and uses it's own code and should be full HTML5 compliant.
