Truncate Your DNN Logs In Your MS SQL Database

If your database is full, your DNN page will stop working. This means that it is no longer possible to execute an SQL script via your DNN instance.

Remedy in this case only a direct connection with the Microsoft SQL Management Studio to your database. However, this is only possible if they either have direct remote access to the web server or the ports to your SQL server have been enabled in the Firewall.

If you replace in a new created responsive Form and change the image size to another value at example to 15% for width and height the results ar only viewed on the Designer and an exported PDF File. The changes will not have any effects on the Form if self.

As a result of this, I am pleased to announce the release of the AarsysMetro7Skin package.

The Metro7 Skin Package includes the following anhanchemants:

Added support for DNN Platform 8.x and 9.x
Moved out the old Solpart Menu registrations
Reworked all Container Controls.
Moved out all table Statements of the Control.
Added full HTML5 compliance.
Fixed small css issues on the containers.

Delete old Windows Install after Upgrade with Power Shell

After running an Upgrade from Windows 7 / 8.x to Windows 10 without issues, you have to delete the Old System files. You can simplify do this with this Power Shell command.

File Upload Bug on sharePoint 2013 CU August 2015

Durch eine Änderung des SharePoint 2013 CU vom August 2015 in der form.js Datei lassen sich keine Anhänge mehr zu Listenelementen Hochladen. Ursache ist, dass der gesamte Dateipfad statt nur der Dateiname überprüft wird. Da der Dateipfad in der Regel mindestens einen 'Doppelpunkt' und einen oder mehrere Back - Slashes enthält erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung:

With subsequent script it is possible to list Orphaned Objects and output into a XML file. The same can also be used with a slight modification to delete that then also outputs the output to a XML file.

Review of the DNN DEV Day 2014 in Herford

From 03 to 04 October 2014 was organized by the DNN User Group Germany a DEV Day in Herford. There were around 15 participants mostly already on October 02, 2014, already a get togather. How could the night before in a relaxed atmosphere and experiences are exchanged and the participants learned ever know. The whole preceded already an online meeting by the technical preparations were discussed. After an introduction to the provisioned by Torsten Weggen VS Template for DNN modules MVVM were formed three teams that want to work in the future to further three modules. Main focus was on the client-side programming of DNN modules. However, the two days ranged to present some preliminary and not yet mature views only partly so we can eagerly look upon the completion of the modules.
